Refuting the People of Innovation is a Waste of Time? – Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan

Questioned posed to al-Allaamah Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him)
{Q). Some of them say: Indeed refuting the people of innovation is a waste of time and it doesn’t benefit the common folk, is this correct?
{A}. “It’s a waste for this person. The one who has made this statement is the one who is wasted. As for clarifying the truth, it is the returning back to the truth and that which is correct. It also is uniting the Ummah upon that which is the truth and correct.”
